Concerts and Cherry Blossoms for Dylan & Reese Residents
It’s the luck of the Irish, even if you’re not Irish. St. Patrick’s Day may be on Friday, March 17th but you can make your own luck all month long. From enjoying great music to enjoying stunning views, there’s no need to spend time looking for a four-leaf clover, you’re already lucky enough!
This month The Birchmere, America’s Legendary Music Hall, is hosting plenty of concerts and events. Such as Stephanie Mills on Saturday the 10th at 7:30 pm. And, on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th band The High Kings will be taking the stage. Throughout the entire month, The Birchmere will be home to several iconic performances. Nature also begins to change this month. The beauty of cherry blossoms is on full display during The Cherry Blossom Festival. Enjoy four weeks, from March 20th through April 16th, of food, fun, and culture. The Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates the gift of 3,000 cherry trees from the mayor of Tokyo in 1912, to Washington D.C. The festival welcomes over 1.5 million people to enjoy diverse and creative programming promoting traditional and contemporary arts and culture, natural beauty, and community spirit.
